Cowboy Carter By Beyoncé.
I was scrolling the social media yesterday when I found out that Grammy awards had already released the list of their nominees for the 2025 awards. While checking every nomination list, I saw Beyoncé in almost all of the nominations. What project could she have to warrant her present in almost all the nominations and when I checked it out, I realized that Beyoncé released an album so I was prompted to listen to the album.
Beyoncé’s latest album titled Cowboy Carter which was released on March 29, 2024 with Columbia records and the Parkwood entertainment. Cowboy Carter album consists of twenty seven songs and twenty three eligible songs were able to debut the Apple music chart.
Let’s have some fun with the Cowboy Carter album.
Texas Hold ‘Em
We can see that Beyoncé in this song is trying to bring America back to his black roots. With a few findings, Texas is a place mostly filled with the black people of America.
I wonder why she wore black in this song as well. Maybe it is actually what I’m thinking.
Daughter
When I made my findings about what inspired Beyoncé to sing this song, I learned it was about her own anger and violence. Who knows what pretty Beyoncé might have passed through in the past?
Anyway, I like the song and I think that’s my favorite song in this album.
American Requiem
One certain thing about this album is that almost everything is centered around America. A lot of the songs in the album were basically about America just like this too.
I think this album deserves more than five Grammy awards or votes from Americans in particular.
Alligator tears
If you have ever imagined a story about a woman who gave up her autonomy for love, oh yeah, it’s this song and what do you think will be the end of it? Alligator tears of course.
I love the video of this song as well. I guess it is because it truly starts with alligator tears.
Jolene
I think I need to confess that I enjoyed more of Beyoncé’s single songs than the ones in which she featured other artistes. Just listen to this beauty.
Sharing these few songs, I’m very sure that you may want to listen to the full album. Let’s go!
Here is the link to the full album.
Have fun!
