In 1990 I had just been discharged from the Air Force and returned to the UK. I got a job back at the scummy filthy down and dirty rock/ alternative nightclub called Sector 5 that I had worked at ( under age) as a young 16 year old a few years earlier. Ahhhh I could breathe and relax and let loose. I think I had signed up in the military far too young at 17 and for many reasons it just wasn’t for me at that juncture in my life. To say I was happy to be out was an understatement. I think I possibly over indulged upon my release from service and just embraced freedoms and excess. Travel, music festivals, booze, more travel, more music and more booze and ting and ting. The music I listened to that year still walks with me and triggers vivid memories and emotions. Here’s a taster from my 1990 play list for #threetunetuesday created by @ablaze

Quality man, love the insight into your past and the trio of songs that you still rock out to. I am the same and although I like to add to my tunes, there are some that will forever remain on my playlists from my youth. I did not actually know that first tune, and must say I loved it, proper grunge, those guitars, quality, reminded me of early Nirvana.

Fugazi are one of those bands I am both astounded that they never hit it bigger and kinda thankful in a way they never did for selfish reasons as they are like my private art collection shared with only the few that know.

@killerwot is obviously in the know as he included them in his three tune Tuesday set this week, check it out here man https://hive.blog/hive-193816/@killerwot/punk-rock-what-an-occupation

Nice finish then with Negative Creep from Bleach and very under-rated album.
